There are many types of cheilitis, for example, dry peeling cheilitis, allergic cheilitis, some lymphoid hyperplasia may cause cheilitis, granuloma may cause cheilitis, some cheilitis is caused by fungi, and light allergy may also cause cheilitis. According to the course of the disease, cheilitis can be divided into acute cheilitis and chronic cheilitis. The symptoms of cheilitis are light and heavy. The patient may not recover for a long time.
People’s upper and lower lips may have cheilitis, but cheilitis mainly occurs in the upper lip. After the onset of lipitis, the skin of the lips will dry and desquamate, the skin of the lips will be chapped, sometimes there will be blood exudation, some patients may not have any symptoms, but feel the lips are particularly dry.
After cheilitis, there will be some inflammatory exudates on the lips, and abscesses or scabs will form. If the patients tear off the scabs on the lips at this time, they will leave a layer of erosive surface, and scabs will form again because of the pain, making the lips unable to move at all.
If cheilitis is more serious, patients will have high fever, accompanied by muscle and joint pain, some patients will have headache and cough, some erythematous blisters will appear on the body, and may cause large area of skin loss.
